Jonathan is a painter working both in his studio as well as on location for murals and fine-art endeavors. He studied graphic-design, illustration, and drawing/painting at East Carolina University in North Carolina.

Buster the dog is his loyal studio assistant, and he makes sure that Jonathan gets enough hiking and tennis ball throwing in his schedule.

“I view the acts of painting and design as part of a larger lifestyle of observation, personal reflection, and technical refinement. Viewing the world through the eyes of a painter is an all-consuming pursuit. This view is both in the literal perception of light and color, of shapes and forms, but also of ideas, concepts, and meaning in all things.”
